A Dagger Nomination... Ken's short story "Wednesday's Child" from the FIRST THRILLS anthology received a nomination for the 2011 CWA Short Story Dagger.

MOVIE NEWS! Ken's novels London Boulevard and Blitz have both hit the big screen. London made its debut in the U.K. in November of 2010 and Blitz this past May.

A Macavity Award for Ken and his co-writer, Reed Farrel Coleman. The two authors were awarded the 2010 Macavity Award for Best Novel at the 2010 Bouchercon in San Francisco for their crime novel TOWER.

Two Barry Award nominations... Priest was nominated for a Best British Novel and Bust (with Jason Starr) for Best Paperback Original!

The Dramatist was nominated for a Shamus in Best Hardcover category!

Ken received the best series award in February for the Jack Taylor novels from The Crime Writers Association of America. According to the Galway Independent, Galway City Councillor Terry O'Flaherty is calling for award winning local crime writer Ken Bruen to be honoured in Eyre Square's Sculptor Garden.
